The protection of nuclear power plants against the effects of tsunamis and severe flooding is of critical safety importance, particularly in view of the potentially catastrophic effects of such events.
The company Innomecom AG from Switzerland shows the participants of this webinar their development of the TsunamiFloodProtection-System (TFP-System) structured according to nuclear engineering standards.
The TFP system protects critical building openings against the effects of tsunamis and severe flooding and thus contributes to nuclear safety and investment protection of potentially endangered nuclear power plants.
The employees of Innomecom AG are looking forward to presenting their new TFP system to the participants.
Key Learning Objectives
- Developing understanding for part of the Fukushima problem
- Learning how to develop and qualify a new nuclear safety system according to nuclear standards
- Demonstration of diversity for flood protection walls
