Process intensification of downstream processes comes with a host of advantages, such as reduced costs, shorter processing times, and improved sustainability. The biopharma industry is experiencing increasing pressure to decrease manufacturing costs and improve sustainability; process intensification is a way to accomplish both of those objectives at the same time.
In this webinar, we will discuss how reducing the number of unit operations and multi-column chromatography can intensify downstream processes. Our wet-lab proof of concepts demonstrate that these approaches have similar purity and recovery to more traditional approaches. Our economic modeling in Biosolve demonstrates the cost savings these process intensification approaches provide.
We will also discuss how modern resins enable these two approaches, and further discuss how they can be used as simple, stand-alone intensification approach. Finally, the integration of these approaches through connected processing, utilizing the Octave™ Multi-Column Chromatography system, will be shown.
In this webinar, we’ll introduce approaches that make intensification easy to implement. Join us to learn how to achieve the benefits of intensification with easy to use approaches!
