After successful installations of various cutting tool systems of different features, it is time to give an overview of the current status. We can report on small 6-up to complex 40-up tools. In particular, we focus on the production of precise perforation lines for multi-packs, as well as the processing of extremely thin PP or PET base films.
Rohrer Tools consistently uses the technology of the monolithic die without unnecessary, movable and failure-prone cutting elements - we will demonstrate the advantages of this technology with concrete examples. Not to be neglected in the changeover to the new films is that the processes upstream of the cutting tool as well as the downstream processes must also be adapted. Likewise, it is necessary to sensitize the machine operators to various things - here, too, important information and experience from the field will be shared.
