The challenges associated with building a commercial ready DNA technology are varied, ranging from developing a supply chain, to scale up and regulatory management. This webinar presented by Touchlight’s Dr Jon Extance, Director of Development and Dr Tom Adie, Head of Platform Discovery, focuses on the journey from discovery to manufacturing and beyond, addressing how Touchlight implemented strategy and overcame challenges in order to commercialise a novel synthetic DNA technology. It will focus on the importance of building a robust supply chain, overcoming the bottle necks of scalability and productivity, establishing a cost-effective footprint and developing an effective regulatory strategy. The presenters will also address the upstream challenges, look at continued improvements and the approach to new patents, and finally how the business can scale up even further in the future.
