Revenue Tax Stamps have been in use for a very long time, with the development of security features advancing steadily. Recent advances in technology, as well as the ever-increasing requirement for data, are changing the requirements for Tax Stamps at a faster rate than ever before. In this Webinar, Baldwin will highlight the Role of Serial Numbers and Barcodes on Revenue Tax Stamps, and discuss the use of modern inks and production methods.
After briefly reviewing Revenue Tax Stamp use and history, we will dive into what makes a Tax Stamp secure. This will include discussing examples of typical security features used and why. We will show how bar codes and serial numbers are used including the increasing use of advanced covert numbers. And we will talk about some methods used to facilitate a Track and Trace process.
Tax Stamps are produced in a few different ways and often in a multi-step process. We will present information on the current trends in the customization process. We will review examples of complete machine solutions that include Serialization, Barcoding and Quality Control. The use of Ink Jet Printing for serial numbers and codes is common, and we will discuss the advantages of using UV inks, and the advantages of UV LED curing. The solution includes multiple points of print inspection and number and code verification and data reporting.
Are you producing Tax Stamps now, and want to increase your business or improve your capabilities? We will discuss some new markets, review the latest security features, and talk about the advantages of implementing a flexible stand-alone printing and quality control solution.

After a management buyout of the Inspection Systems manufacturing division by Erwin and two British colleagues, Erwin worked with Verification Systems Limited (west of London, UK) as an owner and Sales Director for more than ten years. Verification Systems Limited specialized in Variable Data Inspection for the Security Print Industry and merged with PC Industries, specializing in Print Quality Inspection, in 2016. The merged companies combined the two technologies, each leading in their specific field, with the goal to develop the best and most versatile Inspection Technology worldwide. PC Industries was then acquired by Baldwin Technology Company, together with QuadTech and Web Printing Controls, to form Baldwin Vision Systems.
